Do2learn.com-resources for children with special needs

The Do2Learn is a section on 10 different characteristics of persons with disabilities, and strategies for handling each disability. Characteristics and strategies for handling each disability are presented in an easy-to-read, bulleted format. Also included is a section on free rights of parents when it comes to a child with special needs. Instead of having to read long, confusing legal papers, parents can read simple bulleted lists, explaining the laws, procedures and other information associated with raising a child with special needs. List of abbreviations and terms will help ensure that teachers and students are on the same page.

Do2Learn argues that provide parents and teachers with all the resources they need to effectively implement their proposals for working with children with special needs. For example if the strategy involves creating a behavior management plan, provides a management plan for the Do2Learn printing behavior.

Most of the available free resources are in the form of printable worksheets and cards. Teachers and parents also have the option of purchasing the software training books and resources for customizing and building materials. Do2Learn uses the "free" button and the "add to cart" to make it clear from the outset which components are free and must be purchased before use.

In General provides good combination of Do2Learn paid and free. Instead of being given a half sheet or a restricted judicial activities, parents and teachers have access to enough free materials to effectively implement many of the strategies offered Do2Learn. Strategies proposed Do2Learn also contain a mix of healthy parent-teacher resources you can create on their own, including home games and Flash cards.

Most of the resources available through the Do2Learn marked "e", i.e., they apply to everyone from preK through grade 12. However, a lot of free resources are more basic in focus. Even though the old students with special needs may benefit from the use of resources, those who do not have severe learning disabilities may not feel comfortable completing worksheets or revision of postcards that look like materials commonly found in the early primary grades.

The exception to this is section JobTIPS, which is designed for teens and adults with special needs to find jobs. In this section there are professional quality videos, forms and assessment to help explain the process of job search. Even those without special needs will find JobTIPS very informative, easily understandable explanation of the job search process.

Despite some of the resources that are required to acquire elementary and some of the events, more interactive, Do2Learn is a resource for all parents and teachers of children with special needs should visit. A large amount of information contained in the Web site and the fact that it is displayed in a readable format that makes Do2Learn stand out.
